How to Keep Your “Fitness” Resolutions

on Wednesday, 18 January 2017. Posted in Fitness the "right way"

According to the Statistic Brain Research Institute, the seven most popular New Year Resolutions for 2017 were:

#1 Lose weight / eat & be healthier
#2 Life / self improvements
#3 Better financial decisions
#4 Quit smoking
#5 Do more exciting things
#6 Spend more time with family & close friends
#7 Work out more often

The study ALSO revealed that over 50% of all resolutions fail within 6 months. A startling fact attributed to:

• Lack of SUPPORT
• Lack of ACCOUNTABILITY
• Unrealistic or unobtainable GOALS
• Failure to see considerable, lasting CHANGE.

This statistic — and the “top 7 resolutions” list above, confirmed for me why those who join Catalyst STAY with Catalyst: they realize and maintain RESULTS.

Body Transformation Challenge — helping establish a need to succeed.

The Catalyst 60-day Body Transformation Challenge is just one example of how a proper program can educate, motivate, assist and reward those pledging a new level of self improvement. This annual program echoes our success-focused commitment to providing important, total-person support for realizing fitness goals in 2017.

Looking to lose weight, eat & be healthier… gain life self-improvements?

The Catalyst environment connects members with Trainers and Staff that have made life careers out of “helping folks get healthier.” Through programs consisting of proper diet, effective exercise, and realistic goals. Improvements are achieved in a way that is safe and lasting.

Seeking better financial decisions?

Many who pay for a “gym” membership fail to see progress (and so often stop attending) making that money spent “wasted,” regardless of cost. Catalyst is dedicated to offering engaging experiences, encouraging support, and most importantly—real results. Catalyst membership is not an expense, but rather an investment in YOU.

Wanting to quit smoking… do more exciting things… spend more time with those you care about… work out more often?

Once you understand the reason people develop “poor behavior habits,” identifying how to change them becomes easier. Catalyst helps change negative behavior patterns through programs designed to reduce apathy and stimulate positivity. Our events, classes, and facilities create a challenging, excitement environment that fosters motivational camaraderie. Moral support, group encouragement, and honest friendships flourish, serving as key components in helping realize your New Year goals—and maintaining them all year through.

On behalf of everyone at Catalyst, we wish you a healthy & fit 2017.
